Current Project

I am currently working on an angel series of artwork. I chose angels because of some situations that have recently happened in my life.

"Orientation"

The subject of this piece is very near and dear to me. This was inspired by mental illness and the struggles that it entails. I’ve gained a whole new perspective on the subject and intend on producing a series based on it. ‘Orientation’ explores an outsiders perception (in this case mine) of the illness. I see someone who is disoriented and blind to what’s around them but at the same time, the saving light of grace is an overarching presence thus giving them orientation in a time of struggle.

"Bound by Doubt"

This piece is not meant to be provocative in any way, rather it's promoting the nakedness we feel sometimes when we face difficult decisions. How are we supposed to know what to do? What if I make the wrong choice? In the end, sometimes the best decision is just to take flight and keep moving forward.

"Guardian"

I always imagined my guardian angel being a badass. This piece explores softness, intensity, good, evil all with color and lightning.
